For over 50 years Astronics Luminescent Systems Incorporated (Astronics LSI) has focused on expanding product lines to evolve into the premiere supplier of aircraft lighting systems. Headquartered in East Aurora NY, we have additional design and manufacturing facilities in both Lebanon New Hampshire, and Montreal Quebec Canada. Combined, we employee over 500 valuable team members.
Astronics LSI has vast experience in the engineering and manufacturing of custom avionics keyboard panels. This includes illuminated display panels, control panel assemblies, floodlights, map lights, caution/indicator panels, and ambient light sensors, as well as a large range of inverters, power supplies and dimmer units required to control lighting systems. We offer full exterior lighting systems and are renowned for our formation lights used on military aircraft when flying in close proximity to one another. Forerunners in the industry with our innovative use of LED, HID and Electroluminescent Lighting technology, our products are found in aircraft throughout the military and commercial markets.
Astronics LSI also leads the industry with state-of-the-art aviation safety products delivered for over 40 years. Virtually all global business and commercial aircraft manufacturers and operators deploy our patented safety solutions, which include emergency flashlights, emergency beacons, and survival and first aid kits.

History
Astronics LSI can trace its roots back to the development of electroluminescent lighting (EL) in the 1960s. The company pioneered the use of EL for the illumination of formation lights on the exterior of military fighter aircraft, as a backlighting source for cockpit instrument panels, and for emergency exit lighting on commercial aircraft. Through both acquisitions, (E-L Products, Flex-Key and CRL Technologies are all brands that are now part of Astronics LSI) and technology development, the company has maintained leadership position in the field of aircraft lighting and its products can now be found on all types of aircraft including commercial, transport, military, general aviation, which are flown around the globe.

Astronics LSI trouve ses origines dans le développement de l'éclairage électroluminescent (EL) dans les années 1960. La société a été pionnière dans l'utilisation de l'EL pour l'éclairage des feux de formation à l'extérieur des avions de combat militaires, comme source de rétroéclairage pour les tableaux de bord du cockpit et pour l'éclairage des sorties de secours des avions commerciaux.
